Historic Properties & Designing for Accessibility

This group was formed to address how to include accessibility in designs and planning for reconstructions and new programs for historic properties.   Examples of possible discussions include how to implement accessibility when converting an historic site such as a ranger station into a visitor center or rental unit; or how to improve access from parking to the entrance of afacility without affecting the site’s integrity. See More

Hey Sarah, I just left the same message for Cat...following up on the "ratchet strainer" source I mentioned during the south field trip. I think they're a great way to install and maintain the high tensile bull fences you use on the Cococino. Here's the link: ratchet strainer source

Anytime you want to get away to Vermont let me know. The Green and the White are in close proximity to each other. When I moved East I was surprised how different camping was here than in the West. I supposed you saw that too when you were in the South. It's the humidity I think. Great to have met you and I had a wonderful time on your district. Sigh! I miss Arizona.

Hey Sarah, welcome in! Please navigate to the "807 connect" group and join up. We're trying to build an FS LA presence through this site. Also, be sure to check out the "library" as we'd like to grow our design and planning resources. Use the library's "recommendation" section (on the library home page) to offer up tools, resource, etc. suggestions.
Looking forward to meeting you in Flagstaff.
